The HUD Homeless Outreach and Intervention Project is a statewide collaborative project among the five Community Action Agencies and the state of New Hampshire Department of Mental Health and Developmental Services. The project is administered locally by Community Action Partnership of Strafford County and is designed to provide aggressive outreach and intervention services to the unsheltered homeless throughout the county. Our agency provides education and advocacy when assisting persons in accessing services.

Homeless Outreach Testimonial

"I would like to say that Eileen, who works for Community Action, has been very helpful and continues to help us. Winter would have been very difficult without her," said Jack, Sarah and Cole, who received clothing, outdoor gear, food and other items through our Homeless Outreach program in January 2013. "You all have great hearts. Thank you so much."
