Child Care

The Farmington Children's Center, located at 120 Main Street, offers high-quality child care for children age 6 weeks to school age from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The center is open during the summer and school vacations, but it is closed on major holidays. Before and after-school care is available after for children in grades 1-6, and care is available after morning public kindergarten. Breakfast, lunch and snack are provided, depending upon program.
Our center operates one infant room; one toddler room; one Head Start classroom; one Head Start/child care combination classroom; one child care classroom and one school-age classroom. We provide early education, reading program, family support, inclusion programs for children with disabilities, healthy food and child development.

Qualification Guidelines and/or Checklists:
In order for a child to enroll, the registration must be completed and accepted. Information required is a copy of a child's last physical and most recent immunizations as well as a $20 registration fee per child at time of enrollment. The first week tuition is due on the child's first day.
Additional forms must be completed for enrollment and are supplied by the center.
Private payment is accepted or parents may apply for a child care scholarship through the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services.
